I have been lucky enough to have a great job that let’s me spend money on my hobbies. These hobbies have grown into full collections that are actually worth money. So it’s actually a good investment. However, I am also investing in something that’s far more important – my body.
Over the 43 years of my life, I’ve been on a variety of diets. As a child I paid no attention whatsoever to my meals. I ate a lot of chips and junk food. However, as I get older it becomes more apparent that I can’t continue such lifestyles. That’s why, over the past 2 years, I’ve been investing in healthy foods.
This means, that gone are the days of eating chips for breakfast. Instead, i’m increasing the amount of vegetables and fruits in my diet. And one of the best ways to do this has been through juicing.
There are a lot of people talking about juicing nowadays. I heard about it 4 years ago from a buddy of mine who came to work everyday with a giant mixing cup on his desk. When I asked about it, he informed me of his decision to start eating healthy. I decided to do some research on it and as I learned more, I became increasingly interested in doing it myself.
I ended up buying myself a Vitamix blender. It’s one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I use it every day several times a day to make meals and snacks for myself.

Juicing Recipes That I Enjoy
If i’m looking for a powerful “pick-me-up” for the day, a good kale shake will do the trick. This consists of kale, green grapes, cucumber, and golden delicious apples. This is one of my favorites, especially during the morning.
For a good vitamin boost, I’ll mix apples, pears, and cherries. This is one that I’ll mix up after lunch. It’s got a sweet flavor to it and easily takes care of my sweet tooth :).
